A few walls need repainting!!! The bathroom door didn’t close properly, which can be quite bothersome. The pool area could use some aesthetic improvement with a painted outer wall. Charging over $110 feels a bit steep for basic amenities.

My room, a Standard Quadruple Room, was spacious and clean, featuring a great coffee machine and air conditioning that worked perfectly. Staff provided excellent recommendations for local attractions. Housekeeping kept everything tidy, and the complimentary breakfast offered a variety of delicious options each morning. I truly enjoyed the pool area, though I noticed some noise from the pool bar. the young man there played video games loudly while guests lounged, which disrupted the relaxing vibe. Additionally, I encountered a bit of inconvenience with the bathroom door in my room not closing properly. A handrail at the pool steps would be a smart addition for safety, especially considering the heat when coming back inside. Despite these little issues, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a community feel in Merida.

Luz En Yucatan is a charming oasis, reminiscent of a cozy colonial home. The colorful decor and inviting communal areas made me feel right at home, with easy access for seniors to fully enjoy the serene atmosphere.

Additional grab bars in bathrooms would be helpful.

during my short break, i was blown away by how welcoming luz en yucatan was compared to my last stay in merida. the staff went above and beyond, especially with breakfast and helpful recommendations. our room was clean and spacious, and the location made exploring the city a breeze.

Our stay was absolutely delightful especially the refreshing pool that felt like a sanctuary after a long day. The staff's hospitality was top-notch they even provided excellent recommendations that made our exploration truly memorable.

It was kinda pricey but still acceptable for what we got.

I just had an amazing stay! The property is beautifully maintained with colorful decor, and the large, spacious rooms were incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed the lovely pool area and the inviting communal kitchen for drinks. Definitely would come back!
